Bought privately but was aware of diff bearing issues. I just wondered whether these cars suffered from wheel bearings as noise similar before I rush off and have diff looked at |

Its all to be found via the search button. As with any noise it needs a good motor man to track it down correctly to save wasting money but for anyone definitely needing diff or Haldex work doing if you can get there Bell Enginnering are the safe pair of hands. Find on here or via Google. They also do a exchang service if you canโt get the car to them and will help with diagnosis over the phone.

Certainly for front wheel bearings consider a complete front knuckle.

Hi all, loving this forum. I'm a member of a ducati motorbike forum too and this reminds me of the same great atmosphere and helpfulness. Bit of an intro, been looking to get a freelander for the last year or so and have been reading the many topics here for info and reviews etc. I've read some horror stories about them but don't seem to be put off, maybe I have the LR bug. Currently drive a BMW Z4 but need something practical for the sports and activities I like, and will likely want to do some off road experiences too. Anyone else here ride mountain bikes and frequently put them in there freelander? Please share experiences and thoughts.
