2011 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Orkney Grey

Hi All
"Lurked" about on this forum for a while whilst considering whether to take the plunge into Freelander ownership or buy an XC60. Pleased to say I'm now the owner of an Orkney Grey XS from 2011 and couldn't be happier with it.
Perfect car for my needs (small family, outdoor leisure pursuits etc) - so thanks...

Hi All just joined but used the helpful info at the weekend to fit a new passenger wing mirror which was broken when I bought the car. I am now going to attempt to install a TomTom sat nav thanks to all the helpful info. Cheers everyone Thumbs Up

Just a hello

Hi all,

Absolutely brand new to the forum!!

Not new to land rovers though. My first was a gold '93 disco 200 which was great. Loved it every second until the gearbox failed at 150,000 miles.

I then had a period of sports cars of which I had grew out of.

I then had a freelander 1 56 plate adventurer in silver. Abit under powered and got stitched twice with the dreaded low pressure fuel pump but other than that a great car. I miss the electric rear window.

I then part ex the fl1 in for my newly purchased fl2 HSE 2009 in black which I collected on Saturday. 37,000miles. I have to say I am more than pleased with it. No mods on it at the mo other than rubber mats but I hope to do mud flaps, side steps, roof rack and driving lamps in the future.
