Happy to join you here. My new Freelander2 will be delivered March/April. Waiting!
Present car is Nissan Qashqai, it's OK, but I am not quite happy with it. My daily routes are home-school-work-shop-home through the steep and narrow almost medieval streets of Luxembourg. But sometimes we enjoy a walk in the woods with our 3 dogs, or a longer vacation trip (700-2200km one way). Also there is a photographer in the family, who needs to bring all that equipment to locations. Assume Freelander will be the right car for the task.
P.S. I ordered "red" colour and now, reading the forum just started to wonder - Firenze red or Rimini red?

Hi and welcome, there is only Firenze Red showing on the LR website. Gone, 2007 TD4 SE Auto Baltic blue, clear side repeaters, full sized alloy spare.

Welcome to the forum. My last car was Rimini Red which is a great colour. A word of warning though, members are very funny about colours, especially BLACK

Nothing against black colour, its fine and elegant, but I wanted the brightest colour possible, so I can easily find the car after a walk in the woods. (i.e. apart from fulfilling a childhoods dream about being a firetruck driver )

Saying that I once watched a match in Barecelona barca vs real sociedad, expecting a wild atmosphere and loads of noise, There was only one bloke in the whole stadium making noise and old fella shouting 'Barca' at the top of his voice,every 30 seconds, sat immediately behind be.

It was nice to be served beer whilst sat at the match, the barman bringing us drinks on a tray at well timed intervals, And that was just in the cattle class seats At work

no driving involved, plane,train walk straight to bar, spot on.

Probably Plaza de Catalunya I would suggest in most Spanish cities you let someone else drive although I drove around the Arc de Triomphe many years ago which has...a.... lasting memory
