anybody know anything about this most prism he speaks of I also have faulty sat nav unit and would be handy to bypass it |

I think he is referring to Land Rover part number LR019014 which has various names (connector ,bypass, shunt, etc) and plugs into the optical cable from the satnav. |

OOPs! Amazing the difference a 0 makes! Part number should have read LR019014.! Its a tad cheaper! |

Hi Wizz80, I was the original guy who posted the question, the prism can be used to bypass your satnav but there is probably not much wrong with it, I eventually took my freelander to a local garage who had the computer to access the land rover system and all he did was reset ALL the modules after which the SATNAV worked fine. Good Luck |
