United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Stornoway Grey
SAT NAV Unit 6G92 10E887 EE

Hi all, I have a faulty Sat Nav its from a 2007 Freel2 SE it has 6G92 10887 EE printed on it and is DENSO part number 462100-8643, I have traced the fault to an internal ribbon cable and was wondering if anyone has a faulty unit they would sell for me to pinch the ribbon cable from as I cannot source one and DENSO will not speak to the general public, and as has been noted before the stealer wants £2000 for a new one (no chance).

Incidentally at the moment it is bypassed using a MOST Prism which you can buy from LR for a few pounds and everything else in the loop works fine.

Heres Hoping Tom

I think he is referring to Land Rover part number LR019014 which has various names (connector ,bypass, shunt, etc) and plugs into the optical cable from the satnav. Thumbs Up

Hi Wizz80, I was the original guy who posted the question, the prism can be used to bypass your satnav but there is probably not much wrong with it, I eventually took my freelander to a local garage who had the computer to access the land rover system and all he did was reset ALL the modules after which the SATNAV worked fine. Good Luck
