Sorry no photos Boots wouldn't precess them. FL2 SD4 Metropolis Auto Santorini Black / ivory completely stock.

It's true that light travels faster than sound, some people look quite intelligent until you hear them speak.

Stop global winging.

fitted a Blackvue DR500 as a rear facing camera.

Confirmed the rear 12v accessory socket on my MY13 powers off with the ignition,
which is exactly what I required.

I have replaced the Inlet Manifold with a brand new one as a bit of preventative maintenance due to horror stories of the swirl flaps breaking and wrecking the engine and she has 99k on now so replaced the glow plugs whilst I was in there.
3 hours start to finish,

That was pretty quick! Did you replace like for like manifolds or fit the later non-swirl flap type?

I'll be in the van tomorrow taz as I don't want the road test to be a 150 mile one just in case,
Yes it was a direct replacement with the swirl flaps as i thought if it lasts another 100k we're doing ok!
It's part no. LR006680 with the flaps and cost £131
I was dragging my heels a bit in the 3 hours cups of tea and hand warming etc, if I did another I reckon I could do it in sub 2hrs
I'm lucky enough to be a diesel mechanic that currently doesn't work on the spanners so have pretty much every tool going in the garage which speeds jobs up.

Today I replaced the rear discs & pads @ 55,200 miles. Discs were just getting down to the wear limit. Pads had plenty of meat on them tho! What a waste! Had replaced front discs & pads before Christmas, worn beyond the wear limit. Yet again pads were only part worn. All LR branded parts. Looks like disc : pad wear rate is 1 : 1.3. Maybe harder discs needed? (to get a 1 : 2 ratio)

Also replaced all 4 flexy brake lines with s/s braided hoses. Pedal a little firmer, as expected. Thumbs Up

Hi Bob,

Where did you purchase your discs and pads from, and at what cost as need to do mine soon as orginials have done 42K miles.
Do not think that is bad for and auto which regularly tows a 4.9 metre caravan.
Thanks in anticipation.
