Good luck with finding a live that doesn't switch off after a predetermined time. I for one would welcome a post if you find one. |

The rearmost power socket in the cubby box disables on locking car and if you leave the car unlocked by accident power is also disabled. Mine is a MY 2013. * GONE. GS TD4 Manual MY2013. Orkney Grey with privacy, cold and clearview packs, armrests (a must!) and a spoiler.

I installed a mio 388 dash cam but used a road hawk hd screen mount to do away with the suction mount it also mounts the camera higher and closer to the windscreen on the left side of the rear view mirror. The mio 388 also has a good speed camera alert so you wont get caught speeding.

V40. Just angle it down so you get 80% road 20% sky, that'll include a fair amount of the dash, but will cause the cam to expose for the road and not the sky, although you'll always get whiteouts when driving straight into the sun.

I have mine mounted much higher up the screen, the top of the image is just into the shaded area of the screen and as Wing States, angle down, makes a huge difference.

Mine is a 500 but situated pretty much exactly where yours is. Mine is adjusted for 2/3 road, 1/3 sky. This does include a lot of bonnet but works well.
