Michelin 4x4 Diamaris

Has any body had these tires fitted to there freelander 2 if so could you give feed back !!

Michelin 4x4 Diamaris I can get a set of 4 brand new for a very good price they will mainly be driven on the road in the summer months, because I have a set of winter tires. Thumbs Up

I would like a set General grabber AT in the right size but there not out until next year. Big Cry

Have a look at the Michelin Latitude Cross - they are now made in the sizes/ratings for the FL2.

I will be fitting some to my FL2 when I next change.

Have them fitted to both our other FL1's.

Very quite & comfortable ride and a good all round tyre for summer, winter and mild off road.

Not sure how the prices compare

Norway 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

I had 4x4 Diamaris fitted last summer and therefore have driven two summer seasons with them (we use winter tyres in winter). I read after I had purchased them that Michelin did not recommend these tyres for driving off road with.

I do use my Freelander on long rough tracks in the Norwegian mountains very often during summer, but in my experience they perform very well in these conditions. On asphalt they are quiet, comfortable, economical and perform extremely in wet weather as well. I have not tried them for real off roading so I cant comment how Diamaris will cope with those conditions.

The only negative comment that I would make is that due to my rough track driving, they do pick up many stones in the tread and far more than the previous tyres I used. If you are only driving on asphalt, then go for them, if not, consider the above comments.

Hope this helps. 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Zermatt Silver

Had latitude cross tyres fitted a couple of weeks ago and very pleased with them

Almost as quiet as the latitude tour hp, which was quieter than the goodyear wranglers. I suspect the latitude cross will do fine on most surfaces, only used them on asphalt so far but they have been absolutely fine
