There is ways to step it back to 5.x if any one is desperate too, but I guess it won't be long before google pulls the plug on the iOS 5 apps Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Risked it last night and updated my '4' to iOS6. Seems to be draining the battery quicker Sad

At last the big improvement for me is grouping Bluetooth alongside WiFi in the route of Settings, instead of Bluetooth being 'hidden' in General. When you're flicking between WiFi and Bluetooth in the car, home, office, etc its nicer that they're grouped.

updated mine today, took 25 mins.
All is well so far, i agree about the bluetooth its far easier to find now, it was a bit tedious trailing through several menus every time i got in and out of the car! Thumbs Up

"As the owner of the clock’s trademark and copyrights..."

There's the problem - what kind of a system allows a trademark / copyright on something so, erm, undistinguished and clock-like.

But they do (apparently) have the rights, so I'd award them $100 and let them swallow their own legal fees Smile

Instead of the red dot at the end of the second hand, they should have placed the Apple logo

In fairness it was inevitable that the maps wouldn't be as good as Google...how long have Google been making the data for it!? Google wasn't perfect though. It was crap as a sat-nav style tool. I had a free nav on my iphone.

In the next 12 months or so there will be numerous updates from Apple for the maps, bugs and other tweaks from feedback. Give it a year I'll bet the maps are of much better quallity than now.

In all honesty, if I was in the big chair at Apple, I'd have dropped Google too... Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35

Its built together with a number of partners including TomTom, so I am sure that the issues will be resolved. Seemed pretty good when I tried it. Certainly better navigation than the old Google based maps...

btw, you can still use the browser to access Google maps if you need to look for more detail. Cool 2012 DISCOVERY 4 GS AUTO ORKNEY GREY
