Tried using apple maps today, what a load of tosh!!! Black and white maps zoom in, I would be better with an os maps! |

There is ways to step it back to 5.x if any one is desperate too, but I guess it won't be long before google pulls the plug on the iOS 5 apps Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

Risked it last night and updated my '4' to iOS6. Seems to be draining the battery quicker

In fairness it was inevitable that the maps wouldn't be as good as Google...how long have Google been making the data for it!? Google wasn't perfect though. It was crap as a sat-nav style tool. I had a free nav on my iphone.

Its built together with a number of partners including TomTom, so I am sure that the issues will be resolved. Seemed pretty good when I tried it. Certainly better navigation than the old Google based maps...
