ok .. but now tell me ( 'coz to be honest i've not a clue).. is that a bulb change or a total light system change ? derryk My First Fl2 and it is a 2010 GS Auto in Grey with Nice Leather and the Stereo even has headphone sockets in the back. Wish it had a heated screen tho.. Traded in a Fl1 for this. Got a georgous Black SoftTailed Harley for when the days get warmer .. Do days ever get warmer in Lancashire? |

With the resent mot rules and xenon lights requirements for cleaning sprays and automatic levelling I would stay clear

Light washers in the fl2 are the same with or without xenons, which is a complete headlamp swap and config |

I must admit to being very impressed with the results from Halfords Extreme or Ultra Brilliance bulbs ( I forget which but they are labelled as + 120 ), I bought 4 at Xmas for about £50 quid , half the cost of the PIAA bulbs I was going to buy, best 15 minute improvement you can make IMHO.

Proper Bi Xenons don't annoy other drivers, may make the jealous though, nobody ever flashes you to say you are dazzling them, could be two reasons for that,

I upgraded the dipped beam with Osram Nightbreakers and main beam with Halfords 100% extra (Extreme or Brilliance I think).

Never had any problem seeing with the bulbs provided by the manufacturer except when some arsewipe with xenon lights blinds me coming the other way |

My first thought was "but that's why you have dipped beams" I recognize your problem - I have fitted Osram Nightbreakers to the dipped beam - now puts the mains to shame so I need to upgrade those too. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone) 08 FL2 TD4 SE Manual in Rimini Red (Now Gone) |
