Then you have no problem. Here in UK a lot of people have high spec cars, and many more will simply buy the most expensive oil because they think it is "better" for their car. It may be that in Romania, even in Bucharest, people are more sensible, and just buy an oil that matches their car! Wink
If there is no market for top-price oils, then the shops won't keep them in stock.
And it may be that the average Dacia doesn't require such a high-spec oil??? Whistle

Regarding the problem I had in finding the proper oil for my car I wrote an email to Castrol Romania asking them if they are selling an oil that meets WSS-M2C913-B standard.
Here's their answer:
"Buna ziua,
O zi buna,

"

and translation:
Hello,
The range of Castrol retail products does not include at the moment a product that meets WSS-M2C913-B standard.
This standard is met by Ford branded oil, respectively Ford Formula F 5W-30, or A5 product Magnatec Professional 5W-30 that are sold exclusively through Ford dealers
Have a good day

So I had to buy Magnatec Professional A5 5w-30 over the internet

A similar debate has been running on babbrr.com for some time and they asked LR for advice. Their response was:

" I have been advised that the oil required for your Range Rover Evoque is 5W/30 WSS-M2C934/B. Whilst Land Rover recommend Castrol Oil this is purely a recommendation, any oil which meets the above specification would be sufficient. "

Basically if you have a vehicle fitted with a DPF then you need an oil that is 5W-30 and meets ACEA C1 such as Castrol Edge Professional.

Opie oils do not currently supply Castrol Edge Professional but do have alternatives that meet ACEA C1.
