Hi tenet, second the claying, give the car a good wash, then go over it with the clay bar, think there's a good selection of them available in Halfords |

Egg will etch the lacquer on the paint work, like bird does

Just searched DW, lots say the impact damage could have cracked the lacquer, dented the bodywork and the egg shell is very abrasive

Use liquid detergent, not granular as that could cause scratches too |

Get hold of some "Werkstat Acrylic Glos" it's not cheap but a tiny amount goes a long way.

It may have damaged the paintwork, my TD5 was egged by some little , left an oval shape etched into the front wing, looked like it their had been a poor attempt at shot blasting it |
