Dab upgrade from high line / premium

I have a high line/premium- not sure on difference.
Cd multi changer, sub woofer in tyre well.

Can I plug in a dab unit as a direct replacement?

Any advise most welcome.

Cheers.

i think you will find that its not as straight forwards as that,

i think you will need the new aerial cable running to the rear window, the DAB unit itself and any connectors etc you need

I know when the FL2 came out and DAB wasn't available it was often asked once it was launched, and it was always answered with a No!

There was once somebody who said the dealership he worked at tasked him to do it, and it was £500 for the parts alone, never heard anything else from him to say it was done

My new car has a DAB radio and it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. There is no display of the artist and traffic alerts can only be broadcast in FM. It came with the car but I would not go out of my way to fit one now I have seen it perform, very disappointed.

Thanks Chicken Censored Whistle George
I will persevere with it but I was looking forward to seeing the artist as most DJ’s don’t bother to tell you who was singing. The sound system on the car has become a big issue now you can get some good systems in an auto. I have another car that is great. It has the usual 6 cd/dvd drive, a hard drive and an SD slot. It also cures many of the problems highlighted on this site about whirling turbo and gear changes. I have never experienced any of these problems while playing Iron Maiden on this system!
