Have you checked the fuse. Ours would blow the fuse every few days, ended up replacing the switch.

I used an angle grinder and cut from the outer edge for 2 1/2 to 3 inch. Chisel in the cut, hit with hammer, disk will crack down to the hub and fall off. Puts a lot less stress on the wheel bearing.
