Few recent pictures of the fl2...

Well had the freelander almost a month and we love it, towed the caravan brilliant never even new it was there! Heavy on fuel but we new that before we had it anyway few recent pictures...

Well the old girl did me proud again towing the van, next trip for her will be Newquay so a good run.... it's booked in at land ranger services on the 21St and having a full service and all new disc and pads.

They were already on the car wasn't sure on them at first but they have grown on me.

Around town about 22 on a good run 28 and towing the lowest was 17mpg!

Haha bet you are, mine seems heavy on fuel as my last car was a insignia 2.0 diesel eco flex and on a run did 58 mpg.

With my 07 Manual SE I get 34mpg around town, 37mpg on a run and on our last two extended stays in France, Italy, Austria I got 25mpg towing a Luna ClubmanSE and one of those trips included the A75 over Milau and the other the Brenner Pass between Italy and Austria.
I'm sure our Luna is heavier than your van so overall I would be very dissapointed with your mpg - are you driving it like you have just stolen it? Tattoos - Why would you choose to look like the wall of a public toilet?

I tow twin axle 8 mtr van at 1800kg and have just returned from France and get between 21-24.6 towing and 37-44 solo.
My previous auto used to do 21 towing and 29 solo.
17 mpg. Cannot be right ! Jaguar x-type sport gone
Jaguar x-type 2.2d sport one of my best cars ever sadly gone
Freelander 2 GS auto 2008 most unreliable ever ! gladly gone
Freelander 2 GS manual 2013 only time will tell !
