Mine were the same, the inside of the disc corodes and kind of crimps the disc to the hub, easier to cut them off with an angle grinder or recip. saw.

Could be one of two things,

1, blocked bypass, when the oven is up to temp is the flame going out?
2, thermocouple is not in flame when it goes onto bypass and dropping out.

Could be a bad earth, heard of issues of corrosion in the cable, try putting a jump lead from the negative of the battery to the engine block and see if anything woks then!!
