Tim - The real reason why the diesels do not provide adequate amount of heat to the cabin heat exchanger is more down to poor coolant flow design, not that the engines are super efficient. |

All UK diesels are fitted with PTC heaters (electric heaters) to warm the incoming air as the coolant takes a long time to deliver heat to the cabin. |

Elephant, yes the PTC is electric. As for FBH, its only really useful in the colder markets or if you want park heating of the FBH, which isn't available on LR2 - only Range Rover. |
