Hi

I have noticed on my MY07 FL2 that within a hundred yards or so the air coming from the heater vent is already warm, has it got a pre heater or suchlike, there is now way that the engine can have heated the water quick enough.

I have an orange warning by the interior light saying "passenger airbag off" I aint done that to my knowledge, any ideas pls.

My car doesn't take long to heat up aswell, even quicker if the bum heaters are on

Does your airba light stay on or just pop on and off

If its on, pull the little key out of the keyfob and turn it on and off, or visa versa on the side of the dashboard with the passenger door open

npinks, thanks, the airbag lock was turned off.

On the 'hot air' thing, I phoned the dealer, they didnt know !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll be setting off home shortly

I will see how long time/distance it takes for heat to come through the vents

I will have it set on auto and full heat, both sides as a comparison for others to see too  Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I have also noticed very quick heater.

Comes in handy for windscreen de-icing without the heated screen

All UK diesels are fitted with PTC heaters (electric heaters) to warm the incoming air as the coolant takes a long time to deliver heat to the cabin.
