That looks like the culprit, it's very oily. Can you see or feel a split in it?

An injector 'misting' is obviously a small diesel leak which suggests that the injector seals are needing replaced.
I've not done this on the Freelander but it's relatively straightforward to remove ...

If the intercooler is leaking oil it obviously has a boost leak which will have a detrimental effect on performance. The normal leak however is from a split intercooler pipe which is more cheaply fixe ...

Different bulbs, 2 in the pre 2013 version and only 1 in the post 2013, different bulb holders. Anything is possible if you're determined enough but lots of hassle.
