Both mine have the plastic sleeve broken. I haven't got around to repair them but was thinking to strip the outer covering from some electrical cable, slit it and clip it over the visor pivot shaft. ...

Replaced tailgate gas struts. 10 minute job but hole in my thumb where the screwdriver slipped. Embarassed
