Diesel Prices...

What is happening with the price of diesel.

I put £50 in last Wednesday at my local Sainsbury's
and it was £1.36.9 per Ltr, today I've just been
and it's now £1.40.9.

At this rate it will be £2 per ltr by the end of summer
and our FL2's will be worthless as no one will be able
to run them. Laughing

Because everybody drives DIESEL cars in Europe, on can pay more. Somehow all these bankrupt banks, countries and nonsense wars for oil (Libya, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan) need to be financed!

Scotland 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Fuji White

Lucky you.
In Girvan the only station is Esso, petrol 139.7 and diesel 147.9. I need to travel 22 miles to next main town for supermarkets, Shell and BP, always fill up when there. Ultimate/Super diesel is cheaper in Ayr than Esso in Girvan.
Girvan is on main A77 Glasgow- Stranraer road and for some reason is always 6-8p/litre dearer than nearest towns. All FL2's (3) Gone

FL2 GS Auto SD with heated leather, factory tints, alloy spare and a few other bits.

Druand, make sure you don't need to buy any if you pass through Glasgow. Today I was on my monthly expedition into the big smoke and noticed that all the way from Milngavie through to Port Dundas the price never dropped below £1.499 a litre - yesterday in Stirling i filled up with 90 litres of Shell at Borestone Roundabout for £1.379 a litre. Cool How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

Tim, got diesel for 139.9 at Shell Redmoss near Thistle Hotel Altens on Friday 15th. I was staying at Thistle which was HQ for Granite Rally
Had a good weekend, out to Fettereso for VIP day on Friday and Edzell for service on Saturday before going back to Fettereso to do a little spectating.
Drove home on Sunday morning, left 8.40 and thought "nice quiet run" NO! mass exodus from Aberdeen with both Aberdeen and Celtic fans heading for Glasgow.

Round trip 540 miles, mixed roads including 15 in forrest, 38.6mpg. All FL2's (3) Gone

FL2 GS Auto SD with heated leather, factory tints, alloy spare and a few other bits.

Saw 149.9 at the weekend somewhere in East Anglia (well I didn't stop to find out the exact location!). Here in S London today Esso at 137.9 is actually cheaper than Sainsburys at 138.9.
