Diesel is already more expensive than petrol here in CH - yesterday's price CHF1.89 / ltr = ≈GBP1.22 / ltr |

Druand, make sure you don't need to buy any if you pass through Glasgow. Today I was on my monthly expedition into the big smoke and noticed that all the way from Milngavie through to Port Dundas the price never dropped below £1.499 a litre - yesterday in Stirling i filled up with 90 litres of Shell at Borestone Roundabout for £1.379 a litre. How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

Tim, got diesel for 139.9 at Shell Redmoss near Thistle Hotel Altens on Friday 15th. I was staying at Thistle which was HQ for Granite Rally

Saw 149.9 at the weekend somewhere in East Anglia (well I didn't stop to find out the exact location!). Here in S London today Esso at 137.9 is actually cheaper than Sainsburys at 138.9. |
