Yet another colour question...

Hi, everyone.

I'm currently looking at buying our next Freely and have been offered one in Lago Grey with an "Almond" leather interior.

The wife likes the idea but she also likes cheese and apricot jam sandwiches so her tastes are suspect.

Is it just me or is this an odd colour match? I can see Lago Grey and "ivory" but "Almond"?

I should say I haven't seen the car yet but, to save me from making a big style faux pas and being shunned by the kids, I thought I'd seek your opinions, first.

I'm a bit young for the pipe and slippers look, just yet, or is this colour combo a winner? More importantly, will it be desirable when I come to sell it on...?

Thanks, Cap, that's reassuring.

I've now looked at a good few on-line photos but the colour of the "almond" upholstery, in them, spans almost white to quite a dark tan, so no real enlightenment so far.

I did like the contrast with the remaining grey/black fittings, though, and take your point about the all ebony look. Just hoping it's not too 1970's Datsun decor, if you know what I mean.

I get to see the real thing, tomorrow, so will make a decision then.

Probably immaterial, anyway. Any car i get will be mud coloured within a month...
