sat nav screen brightness

has anbody had any problems on a cold morning(ie frosty) my sat nav screen dosent seem as bright till the heat in the cabin warmes up is this standard then at night it seems too- bright have i missed somthing in the navigation set up Rolling Eyes rainy-city

i had on FL2.1 and on my newer FL2.2, had dealers look into it and said its down to the cold lcd display taking time to warm through Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
