Correct. Make sure that you tighten them down when you put the fuse back in otherwise this could cause, let's say, a themal event! Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

I had the same problem on my i6,went back to the dealer 3 times and they never sorted it before I sold it.
First time I noticed it was when I removed the key and it was very hot to the touch.mine only did it when the heater was on hot,checked the ducting myself and there was nothing wring there.
Not much help to you but you now know it's not just your car that does it.

Ah well back to the drawing board!
Took the fuse out last night and trundled off to work this morning. Heat not too bad.
But tonight still seemed about as hot!
So can't be the PTC overheating
Sad

ptc wouldnt have over heated the dash just the airflow thru the vents even then it would struggle being fairly small.
