yes it should have been replaced during the recall winter 08 At work

Tend to think it's a dislodged heater pipe. That said, it does get very hot in that area anyway, it's just a lot of us dont tend to stick our hands on the dash whilst driving and then it cools down quickly. |

The radio would actually turn off and a message would appear on the display saying 'overheating'

after been out in my car, radio on, heating on warm, 30 mins drive later = cold dash, 15mins later of engine running stood still = cold dash
