Team Valley Land Rover - £277.59 for service

Don't forget there are in effect 2 types of 4 year service.

The first is based on age only and is normally alot cheaper than the official 4 year 60k service. I had the 4 year 60k service done, although the car has just 42000 miles on the clock and this includes all filters, inc fuel. So is a little more expensive than the age related 4 year service.

The age related service to me would have been around £350. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

2013 Freelander 2 SD4 Dynamic Auto Orkney Grey

Hello Mav71

I'm booked in for my 4th year/60k service for £310 the car has only done 32k. Do you know what is done on the "age" service so I can check I'm getting the full service for £310, am i right in thinking if a fuel filter is changed its the full service.

If it is £310 at a Land Rover Service, I would say it is the age related and not the 4 yr 60k miles service. But of course I could be wrong. I paid £405 for my 60k service, if if yours is the same you have a good price.

Mine although 4 years old, has only 42000 miles on itbut I wanted the full 60k service. I think the fuel filter and pollen filter is only changed at the 60k service. I've checked with land rover and it's the 60k service with all the filters changed. I have also asked them to swap the brake fluid as farnell didn't do it at the 3 year service or even offer it so I could have it done at the same time.... they tell me now I should of requested it myself when booking in... very professional!!!! well it sailed through the MOT yesterday at hi q for just £25 special offer .... I'm looking into the C pillars been matt black vinyl wrapped by a local car wrapping firm ... £40 all in!

2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Stornoway Grey

Decided to take my car to an independent for it's 4yr (51k) service.

Apart from the Engine Flush, Oil Change, and all 4 filters I also needed Rear Discs, Rear Pads and Rear Shoes. Glad I wasnt paying £100/hr labour charges!

Also did the Nationwide half price MOT deal.

2014 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Firenze Red

Paid £270 for the 4 year, 60,000 mile service with all filters changed, including fuel, although vehicle only done 35,000 miles This was carried out by an independent 4x4 garage. I supplied the Castrol Magnatec 5/30 oil. LR dealer wanted £390 but this included oil at their inflated price. 2007 TD4 SE Manual

2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Buckingham Blue

Just booked mine in with a local independent 4x4 place £230.00 plus VAT.

The local LR place (Perth) wanted £429.00 as did the Elgin dealer.

MY local dealer said could I call back don't think I'll bother.

I have just been quoted £496.41 for a 4 year service. The car has done less than 16,000 miles. Has anybody else been quoted more?

I have Just done the 60000(96000Km) service, which was 450 euros or 380 pounds. The vechicle is 3 years old.

I thought there was only one type of four-year service. This is the LR Service Check Sheet and it doesn't mention that there are 2 types of services available
