Powder coating it a stronger coating which will resist paint chipping better IIRC

I've had several sets of wheels for my racing motorcycle re-finished. Changing tires out every race weekend takes a toll on them. Painted wheels finish doesn't last long, so I switched to powder coating. It's quite durable as long as it's done well.

We regularly have wheels colour-coded for customers and demonstrators. 100% with painting and 100% with avoiding matt/satin.

Funny you should say that.......... I should be able to post a picture of NPinks next car (not that he is aware.......yet ) later today or tomorrow which has had the grilles, badges, vents, wheels and door handles painted in black chrome. Saw a new White D4 HSE yesterday with gloss black wheel, looked like Overfinch wheels but not sure if they suited it Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |
