My FL2 has just over 2 years left of it's new vehicle warranty. When the warranty runs out however, I will still have 12 months left of my finance package before I can either buy another new car or give them mine back etc.

personaly i think there a complete rip off. At prices from £500 to £900 a year. If for instance you dont need to call them out you have saved a packet.

Yes, a different matter if you have a high spec vehicle and it's given you problems. That said, it's a 5 min job to do the parking sensors. On the LR Topix site, it says remove the leads one by one to establishg which one is playing up and clip it out, a quick wriggle, top to bottom movement, then replace. You can get LR ones off Ebay for 20 quid, job done. |

Yes, a complete rip off! As I keep saying, these are products sold to make profit, not a charitable institution. |

On FFRR I have had a new webasto FBH, 2 Injectors, engine and climate software updates. It comes to at least £2k worth, I decided the £1055 including Land Rover Assist for another years warranty may be worth it.

Current cost is £430 (£3000 max per claim) or £550 with no max, the latter for vehicles under 5 years old only. LR Assist is £110 on top of that. Given the cost of major LR items, I think I'll go for one (the cheaper option) this time around. Even if the Freely2 IS more reliable, I've had too many Land Rover breakdowns in the past to want to take the risk... |
