A/T Tires In USA

You members across the pond don't know how fortunate you are when it comes to buying A/T tires for the FL2/LR2. If it's not a popular size, the shops here don't stock them and have to order them, which takes a week to get them. I may drop down to a 17 inch wheel just to have options. Mad

Same here unfortunately.
If you want something decent in A/T you have to drop down to 17" or 16", all the other good stuff seems to be in 255-55-18 which is too wide for the FL2. Sad

TOO WIDE??

Shocked
I just recently bought a set of General Grabber AT2 tires for mine, of that size for summer, havenīt fitted them yet.
It was said that seize was OK, are they too wide? Big Cry

I can't say for sure other than you have a tyre that is 20mm wider, this will reduce the gap between your tyre and the suspension strut by 10mm. If you have a bigger gap than this already then they may fit Exclamation

I fitted some Goodyear Wrangler AT/SA tyres in 235-70-16 for the winter and off road days in place of my standard 235-60-18's. The rears, even at 235 profile only give me around 5mm of clearance between the inner side-wall and shock absorber. No problems on the front, so I would suggest trying to fit one of the rears first! Good luck Thumbs Up
