FL2 2wd in Auto Express

Tut tut tut - fancy reading a subject on the un-landrover-like 2 wheel drive freelander 2!! Give yourself a smack and dont to it again!! But whilst you are here you might as well have a read.

Auto Express have reviewed the 2 wheel drive variant and the model featured is a top of the range HSE. Quite shocked that it still costs £33K, I think most people would still pay a little extra and get the 'proper' version (4 wheel drive). Still it gets a good review and praises it for refinement and being very similar to the 4wd of tarmac. Only complaints being its easier to lose grip when cornering and well thats about it. 4 stars out of 5! Thumbs Up

Its going to be featured in next weeks issue against a BMW (think its the X1 but not 100% sure in the picture) and the Kia Sportage COUGH Whistle

There is also a review of the 2WD in this weeks Autocar. They gave it 3.5 out of 5 when compared against the BMW X3, Audi Q5, Volvo XC60 and WV Tiguan.

oh that was good of them Rolling Eyes

Next week we criticise an Audi TT for not having the same load carrying capacity as a S-Max. For a free country, it does seem pretty expensive these days.
