Fair play to the fella taking the new FFRR through. I'd loved to have been there!

People are always losing their cars on Brean and Berrow beach. The sand turns to mud as you get lower down the beach. The local recovery service use a nice heavy vehicle with a winch and a long wire when they recover the wreck that's left.

Might have been kicking about, might have a black FL2, but it wasn't me. Honestly.

I was there in the OTHER Freelander which is in one or two of the other pics. My O/H was in the only FFRR that came. It was a fantastic day, lots of fun and I NEVER got stuck!! Lots of fun playing in the quarry too. I will put up some pics/video when I get a minute.

To be fair, that the Freelander never got stuck. No ropes or winches were used just a couple of waffles to reduce the depth of the one hole. |

As one of the peeps in the pic, what were we to do - get cold hands?? The arm in the top right of frame was (and probably still is) attached to one of the marshals who was guiding him out after waffle boards were put under the rear wheels. |
