Has anyone fitted these driving lamps, are they a waste of time ?

You need to see them in the flesh before you make a decision, you don't see many fitted though, I reckon EV has the only one I've seen with them fitted.  p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Here is a pic. This is not mine. Looks terrible with driving lights.
They´re probably too small anyway. Guess xenon upgrade is a better deal

When i first saw the pics of driving lamps I thought it looks really nice and gives a very off-road image.

But then I saw them in the flesh, and my opinion did a U-turn, they stick out a lot, upset the lines a bit and thought I dont really need extra lighting in the front.

Not nice, they look like a Tonka toy add on, the projection completely spoils the line flow.

Thanks for comments and pics guys. I agree entirely, they look naff and are not worth it.

Has anyone tried any aftermarket PIAA or HELLA lamps ?

looks like they cut the hole out with a stanley knive.................what a botch of a job !!

and I agree they look terrible and probably totally useless as driving lights.

Agreed. The driving light reflectors are too small to be much use, big lamps look wrong (even if you could get proper brackets) and spoil the airflow (hence poorer fuel economy).

I came to the same conclusion and went for the winter pack to get Xenon lights, heated screen and the rest, for little more than the extra for Xenons. 50,000 miles, 3 winters and well pleased! Gone... 2013 XS TD4 Manual Firenze Red
