No problem, fair enough, but seems a bit daft. It was only for the benefit of people having trouble getting them, not an advert for them.

Difficult to say without seeing the rear bar, but instead of the two screws at the extemities, double sides tape, like the numberplate is held on with? Could that be an option?

We did think of this, but there is not enough of an area to stick the tape on the handle. It just wouldn't stick to the tailgate.

I wasn't hard to do, just fiddly. But I beleive that if you going to do a job, then do it right. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

I haven't seen the rear handle, so this is as bit of guess work, but the other possibility is to infill the handle with filler, then use double sided tape? My thinking is if you dont use the screw, whats to stop you making all of the excess of the rear handle solid, then it would stick.

We even looked at that as well. Originally I was looking to try and make fitting the handle reversable. but the handle when not on the car is quite flexible, I reckon if you filled the inside of the handle with filler, it would come out after a time.

It is best to fit it properly otherwise it will be a bodge. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Orig front looks nicer

Hello,

I think the work carried out is great and for the price you did it is amazing but I like the old front better. I know it's subjective but the new bumper looks too much, prefer the grill breaking it up a little. The front shown in Image 13 looks great to me, the one with the cup of tea/coffe in it.

Just my opinion but I think LR got this one wrong.

Cheers freetwothink

Mav, love the facelift on your FL2, but why did you have to make the other FL2 parked next to it look like a Merc? Laughing
