We did think of this, but there is not enough of an area to stick the tape on the handle. It just wouldn't stick to the tailgate. I wasn't hard to do, just fiddly. But I beleive that if you going to do a job, then do it right. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. I haven't seen the rear handle, so this is as bit of guess work, but the other possibility is to infill the handle with filler, then use double sided tape? My thinking is if you dont use the screw, whats to stop you making all of the excess of the rear handle solid, then it would stick. |

We even looked at that as well. Originally I was looking to try and make fitting the handle reversable. but the handle when not on the car is quite flexible, I reckon if you filled the inside of the handle with filler, it would come out after a time. It is best to fit it properly otherwise it will be a bodge. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come......... |

Mav, love the facelift on your FL2, but why did you have to make the other FL2 parked next to it look like a Merc? |
