Norway 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

To avoid the handbrake sticking/freezing it is the norm here in Norway (with ALL cars) to avoid using it during winter (at least). Of course if you have to occasionally, you have to, but not for longer periods and NOT in moist freezing weather.

Had exactly the same problem with a BMW several years ago, washed it and parked in the garage while I was away in the sun for 5-week "winter" vacation. Forgot the handbrake rule and had to pay dearly for it afterwards Crying or Very sad 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

Scotland 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Buckingham Blue

I got my local tyre place to do mine, wasn't cheap tho!!

They used LR parts from the dealer but their labour was a lot less.
