Evenin' all !

Just about to change company car, am waiting for lease prices for FL2 to appear on our list so I can confirm order, oh, and wouldn't mind driving one too!

I'm not a died in the wool LR fan (as yet) and to be honest wouldn't consider a FL1. I cover about 30k miles a year and sometimes tow a caravan. Looks like the FL2 will fit the bill very well.

Has anyone seen the colours in normal daylight? At the launch show there were too many flashing lights to see th true colours, the 2 on view were a black and a grey. I didnt consider the black, difficult to keep clean, the stornoway grey looks good but I would like to see the Izma Blue, anyone seen this one/

Have seen Zermatt Silver and a very dark grey one at MPH06 but saw 3 transporter loads of them on the M6 last weekend and orange looks good in the flesh as do Tonga Green and White

Thanks Tim
I have ordered one for Jan 1st, have choice of Stornaway Grey or Izmir blue, need to see in the flesh but Stornaway Grey appears to suit the car.
Not keen on green or black(black difficult to keep clean), orange a bit bright(America will love it but I dont think it will sell here), white not for this car, had 2 red freelanders, choice is resticted. Why two black colours?
Would appreciate your thoughts David

No idea, it's a bit like the RRS being available in Java, Lugano Blue and Buckingham Blue which all look very similar in the UK's dull weather. I drove a Stornoway TDv8 Range Vogue SE a couple of weeks back, it looks very pink in some light conditions................... but almost Bonatti in others.
Just a thought but I wonder if one of the Black's is a metallic and the other is a solid
Here's a Stornoway RRS www.rangerovers.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12359

and here is a Stornoway RR Vogue - its a video of the new powered sidesteps that you can spec for your RR!

for your trouble, I think the colour suits the car in the pictures you kindly listed. My dealer has promised to give me the option on the grey or Izmir Blue, have you seen the blue?
Just one point from the article you attached, one of the blacks is metalic, I have seen this one at the L/R show, looked good but will be a devil to keep clean!! David

Hi

I've been dipping in to the forum for a while and joined recently. After 2 FL1's over 8 years, I changed to Xtrail last December becasue i didn't want another FL1 knowing that they were due to be replaced. Having seen the new FL2 I have decided to px my almost new Xtrail - and take the depreciation hit now (!) rather than in two years time. I am waiting for a phone call to set up a test drive during this week. After that I am at the top of the list for an SE in stornoway with scuba trim. Should arrive with the dealer 1st/2nd week December (with a following wind).
