Hi bob, from what I have read on this forum it seems there is no hydraulic master cylinder, but mechanical linkage from the pedal to the hydraulic slave cylinder in the bell housing. I have also read that someone had a clutch failure due to an 'O' ring failure near the bulkhead so why the hydraulic system is external to the bell housing, I do not know |

It's hydraulic. The master cylinder is "hidden" near and below the brake booster. See picture.
