I've got a towpack part of the deal, but I recall it being quoted at around $600 for the detachable tow bar. LRA advised they should be available "early October". |

I traded in my Shogun a month ago in the hope I would get the Freelander 2 by the beginning of October – the DVLA now seem to think it will be between two weeks & a month before I get the retention certificate – I’m now in a loan Disco3 XS until I take delivery of the new car - UKdave104, what part of Worcester are you visiting? An old friend of mine is now living in Edinburgh, hope to visit her in December with any luck. |

Hi Kangy, thanks a lot! Really appreciated. If you like you can find the owner's handbook and other suff on the LR site, more completer the UK version. Enjoy the reading |

Hi... to all. A Freelander sucker for five years now and have experienced all of the niggles my previous two versions were renowned for. Now have the '2' (ES) and, fair play, it is the nuts'. 12k now and it will go in for its first service, Monday next. I know - 15k would be the norm but the water leak from the sun roof is getting to annoy and the 'graunch' from the wing mirrors unfolding wakes the neighbours each morning. So to avoid the grimace from the keeper of reception when requesting a courtesy car (more than once in a year) I thought I would combine the admission. If you want to venture further into my immediate experience look at my reply to a comment on quirks and faults. I would be interested to know if the fault I experience is unique or more wide spread.

Hi all - collected my Rimini Red XS a couple of weeks ago and just got around to joining the forum. Mine is an ex-demo so hopefully escaped a good chunk of the initial depreciation Got an unusual interior combo which not seen before - all black (carpets etc) but full leather seats and door panels in alpaca. |
