Looking to buy a private number plate are there any pitfalls to be aware of? Looking at RegTransfers as they have one I like. |

I got mine from the DVLA piece of p**s to get it on the FL2, and you know they are all legal. |

we used to have them until they were 3rd on the times list of "chavviest" things to own, so sold them (hansom profit mind you) The missus - SD4 HSE - Black - 2012

Chavtastic when they make the name by spacing 11 too close or positioning screws etc

Reg transfer had a good plate about 12 months back (FL2) I was going to go for it !!

I got a part of a plate for nothing!!!! when I bought new FL2 this month. its an SD 4 and reg is SD60 --- All FL2's (3) Gone

Have you checked the DVLA site to see if the plate you want is still available from them - it will be much cheaper. |

I wouldn't of thought Reg plate companys advertise plates that are still at the DVLA, They do however sometimes advertise plates that other companys are advertising due to the fact they are owned by an individual and are marketing it on their behalf. |

I've got my two initials and 4 numbers on mine. I didn't really buy it as any sort of investment but I suppose it is. Always wanted to have a personal plate.
