I love the RRS, no doubt about that, but whereas I'd be reasonably happy with any model of FL2, having a low-spec RRS just doesn't seem to make sense, so you're actually looking at more of a price difference than is first apparent, for me at least. When I see a prestige car in a basic trim I tend to think the driver is someone who's driving something more than he can really afford, as a status symbol. I know it's not right to generalise, but that's what I tend to think.

I bet you feel right at home in your loan car then. Seriously, though I was the same when i changed, get a low spec D3 or higher spec FL2 that looks better as well. Wasn't a hard choice. I had a low spec RRS as a courtasy car, didn't like it, I feel that I would prefer the RR instead, but then I am back to square one, High spec FL2, Slightly lower spec D3 or 3rd hand old RR Vogue Why do we think about our next car as soon as we buy a new one??? |

When I buy a new car I also now select which car I'm going to want as a courtesy car, as that's the one I'll spend more time driving. Probably. |

One thing I've just noticed about the RRS as I stare out of my office window at one parked on the road below is that it's got a poxy little sunroof - how come it's not got the "glass roof" that the D3 and FL2 has? |

Why not select a caravan for when you next breakdown in the middle of nowhere with no phone signal waaxh03 |

Because that would make the shame of breaking down all the worse - It's already bad enough knowing that all those people driving or walking past you are thinking "ha ha, he's broken down", but to imagine they'd be thinking "ha ha, he's broken down AND he's got a caravan".... unthinkable. And I can already feel the personal embarassment and visualise the look of abject horror on the man from LR Assist's face when he turns up. Please. |

Sorry not in my case, I have green flag mayday cover through the caravan club, they tow my caravan and me to the site i was going too, then if my car is not fixed by the day i would return i would get the caravan towed back home. and i was told by the dealer if phone LR assist they would do there best as well, with the car, which could mean i would be able to get a courtesy car from them too. |

Maybe this is the best way to be a closet carvanner, have someone else towing it around so that no one else knows your dark secret |
