One thing I learned from experience of heated nozzles on an older car of mine is that you should be careful what you put in the washer bottle. If you live in a hard water area and mix washer fluid with tap water, you should be prepared to clean out the nozzles occasionally, as the calcium deposits tend to affect the spray pattern. |

Last year my tesco brand screenwash froze in the bottle before I even put it in the car, neat stuff not ready mix At work

Thanks wdw, beat me to it with reply. Didn't read junior's comment earlier as I was busy having fun on the snowy/icy country lanes in NE Hampshire (it reminded me of my youth in Lancashire). Early retirement is a real bummer! |

I guess Kesman 50 is thinking about de-mineralised water (which, on reflection is a bit of an oxymoron for Perrier!).

Had a water softener fitted three years ago, no trouble with hard water in our house. |

It's so bad here I can't get a lather from the soap, you can watch the dishwashing liquid bubbles die right in front of your eyes, it's harder than Chuck Norris and hurts when you wash |

I know, couldn't take so I let the wife do all the washing up etc, it was then I was advised that I had better get a water softener or certain rights would not be forth coming |
