Still worth having as it only cost Stownrow 30 quid, patience and some know how.
He's done a good job too.

I've got the 30 quid but unfortunately neither of the other two Whistle

One thing I learned from experience of heated nozzles on an older car of mine is that you should be careful what you put in the washer bottle. If you live in a hard water area and mix washer fluid with tap water, you should be prepared to clean out the nozzles occasionally, as the calcium deposits tend to affect the spray pattern.

Those of us who like to adjust the concentration ourselves to suit the likely conditions.

Thanks wdw, beat me to it with reply. Didn't read junior's comment earlier as I was busy having fun on the snowy/icy country lanes in NE Hampshire (it reminded me of my youth in Lancashire). Early retirement is a real bummer!

For this reason always use filtered water

I guess Kesman 50 is thinking about de-mineralised water (which, on reflection is a bit of an oxymoron for Perrier!).
Perhaps we should ask Father Christmas for a base ion exchange system to get rid of the scale forming calcium and magnesium salts or maybe a reverse osmosis plant would fit nicely in the back of the garage. There's certainly no room for the car in mine!

It's so bad here I can't get a lather from the soap, you can watch the dishwashing liquid bubbles die right in front of your eyes, it's harder than Chuck Norris and hurts when you wash Big Cry
