Possibly. I don't know what percentage additive they put in at the factory. I was topping up with neat additive. Andyfr |

It was still dribbling out after 30 minutes. Must have lost at least a litre. Andyfr |

Looks like the front bumper will have to come off. Booked in for next week. Fortunately the reservoir doesn't empty completely. Andyfr |

I think you might find that because of the extreme cold weather we have been having the headlamp washer nozzles are frozen because the fluid doesnt have enough additive in it, then if they operate the pressure produced because the water cant exit the jets causes the hoses to blow off the back of the nozzles, I know this happens with Volvos because a service engineer I know says its a right pain in the bum as they have to remove bumper assembly to repair the damage and its a regular thing in winter, so either put plenty of screen wash fluid in so it doesnt freeze or dont use the washers when the headlights are on. I was only wrong once and thats when I thought I was but wasnt.

Haven't had the problem (yet) with the headlamp washers, but regularly get the problem with the windscreen washers. The pipe pops off jet under the bonnet and you need to remove the insulation/padding to reconnect the pipe. |

I kept thinking that having heated washer jets would bring an end to frosted up jets. WRONG!

Its probably the water in the pipe that's frozen! try a better mix of screen wash! The heated washer jets are on all the time regardless of anything else switched on/off! |
