You're right, it is the sensor warning her of a low external temperature but it is a warning only, not an action as your car is already in 4WD. |

Its an automatic function. You will get this warning beep and visual signal at start-up if the outside temperature is +4 centigrade or below, or if driving and the temperature suddenly falls below +4 C. If yours does not do this there may be an error on the system. 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |

Thanks for your replys guys I think I may have to get this one checked out as I've never heard any bleeps or seen any snow flakes and it's been a lot colder lately down to minus 3 the other night

You wont see an icecle inside the Freely either, just a snowflake. The piddely little beep is very descreet, but the Kuga's apparantly louder and presumably vulgar Green and Red flashing lights and Big Ben chimes would have been better for some early morning drivers 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
