2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e S Manual Stornoway Grey
New tyre (just one!)

Got a nail in one of the rear tyres yesterday, done approx 12K miles now so some wear all round on Goodyear Wranglers. Only replaced the damaged one as unrepairable with the same as already on the vehicle. Is this likely to cause any probs as they will technically have slightly different diameters and I have read that this can be an issue with a 4x4, or am I concerned for no reason? Can't really afford another new one to balance them up at the moment.

There are arguements for replacing all 4 wheels at once. I'd at least change the wheels on the same axle, but I am OCD.

I asked as i have 2 17" wranglers in my garage, which were put on my last car, just before i sold it so are nearly new tread wise.

I then bought a new set inc wheels with slightly less tread as it saved me buying 2 new front ones (and cheaper)

I am pondering on selling them to free up my alloys to fit AT tyres on, but i don't know what they are worth, or how much it would cost to take them off alloy wheels to make it worth while selling Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
