if the car appears to be ok could be your driving technique.

What car did you have before and was it a saloon with stiff suspension??? I've come from a BMW 330i M sport (really stiff suspension) and felt exactly the same when I first got in the FL.. My wife also felt worse, although this is nothing to go by as she is the only person who I know gets car sick driving!!! At one point I started to think I need to swap it for, dare I say it an X3 or maybe an X5!

Of course not! I wonder if the booking was actually in the name of JC as suggested in the article? Sorry, gone OT.

Well EV I will see tomorrow if, I quote: "Dealers never seem to be able to find a fault that is not staring at them in the face" as her ladyship's FL2 TD4-e Newport goes in for its first annual service. I have of course supplied a detailed report of all that has transpired during the first 12mths of ownership and issues related therein. |

lrdealer, I had a car some years ago that had small bulge in the tread of one of the rear tyres. This made me feel sick also. Our local garage found it. The mechanic just jacked each wheel up in turn so it just cleared the ground, then he spun it by hand.

I know it sounds harsh but that is what has happened everytime I have taken mine in. One of the only things they were able to do was fix the rattly passenger side step but that was easy because it rattled! I'm refering mainly to my phone system that one one occasion I was talking to the service advisor on the car system & it was so bad I said to him I will call on the landline when I get indoors to which he agreed as he could hardly hear me. When it went in nothing was wrong never is. I did a test call on Sunday when my brother in law popped round & he said that is awfall! but the dealer can't fault it Then there is the strange hesitation when changing gears but no problem until after 9 months of ownership the service manager of one place came out with me & said - Oh that is a characteristic of the manual, they all do it so I could only take from that that the other dealers & LR themselves don't even know characteristics of their own cars!! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red. (Past) RR Evoque Dynamic Lux Si4 In Firenze Red. (Past) RR Evouque Pure Tech in Barollo Black with bespoke Firenze Red colour coding. (Present) Freelander Metropolis 2015 MY In Santorini Black with Ivory Premium Leather. |

We have moved from a stiff A4 cab to the fl2 our first 4x4 and not our last, we love it. We have the XS in manual no problem with the gear change and the bluetooth is excellent! my wife and my iphone all connect, sync and the speaker is realy clear. Hope this helps |
