Still loving my new car but not sure if the front parking sensors are working correctly.

The sensors are only automatically activated when you select reverse. They then switch themselves off when you go over 5mph. You will need to switch them on via the dash button if going into a space forwards.

Thanks for the comments, maybe I should read the instructions but as my wife says men never read instructions. Wouldn't want to dissapoint my good lady after all. |

My wife found out, the hard way, a few weeks ago that you need to select the front sensors manually. After trying to get into an end parking space, we now have a 1" gouge out our front spoiler.

I got really confused last night (not difficult, I know!) when I was reversing into a parking space at exactly 6pm.
