Placed my order on 28th June with expectation of a late September delivery. Delivery currently predicted for 5th November. Talking to a Dealer yesterday I was told there was a delay in production (not specified) which may explain why build to order is taking longer than hoped. |

when i was waiting for my rear diff, they said the delivery from caterpillar was not fulfilled, this could have been just for the spares, but it sounds as if it was production too Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

RRS engines are the same as the D4. D4's are selling like the proverbial hot cakes (mine was Oct build and is now back to 'sometime in January 2011...') and so they are stealing RRS capacity to try and play catch up for D4 orders... don't think this is related to F2 shortages! However, the Fun Prevention Officer's F2 was due 1st Dec and is now back to 29th Dec (er,,, how? This is during factory shut-down for Christmas!) so will watch with interest! |

Hi, I seemed to have been very lucky. Went to local gargae and they had a GS in Lago grey available. i suspect it was going to be a demonstrator but they sold it to me. The next available was in December. It is standard model with full size spare.

It's not unusual for any diesels to use a bit of oil when new, I think its been mentioned on here before. Look for any leaks but it is probabley just burning a bit while it beds in. Keep your eye on it and it should improve with a few more miles done. |

GSMY11... enjoy the F2 - the Fun Prevention Officer has had one for three years and it has had washer fluid in one end and diesel in the other so hope that yours is as trouble free.

They are certainly trying to reduce the stock and build to order, however there is still stockl out there at the right dealers. We have 6 available for Nov and 5 for Dec, however we are a large dealer so may have more than average. James |
